Crossfit

 

CrossFit is an intense exercise program that creates explosive muscle action. Crossfit incorporates a combination of aerobic exercise, body weight exercise, gymnastics, and Olympic weight lifting. These different elements are mixed in numerous combinations to form prescribed "Workouts of the Day" or "WODs." You are expected to fulfill a specific number of repetitions within a certain amount of time and participants compete to see who can perform them fastest. The sessions vary to keep your workouts effective.

 

TRX Suspension Training

 

Suspension Training bodyweight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. TRX Suspension Training , which was born in the Navy SEALs, is a best-in-class workout that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises.

You're in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise by simply adjusting your body position to add or decrease resistance.



Strength Training

 

Strength training is a type of physical exercise specializing in the use of resistance to induce muscular contraction which builds the strength, anaerobic endurance, and size of skeletal muscles.
 

When properly performed, strength training can provide significant functional benefits and improvement in overall health and well-being, including increased bone, muscle, tendon and ligament strength and toughness, improved joint function, reduced potential for injury, increased bone density, increased metabolism, improved cardiac function, and elevated HDL (good) cholesterol.

 

Toning & Shaping

 

For women, it can be  challenge to live up to the public image of what women are "supposed" to look like. Instead of chasing the stick-thin model look, you can choose to tone and shape your body into the best version of itself.

By Combining strength-training exercises to build lean muscle with cardiovascular exercise to burn any excess fat, you can work towards creating the best body possible.

Sports Rehabilitation Training

 

During sport-specific rehabilitation, recovering clients are introduced to an exercise progression that goes beyond standard weight training.  To assist in getting them back to their pre-injury level of activity, a stepwise progression of activities is monitored for progress.  As strength and full range of motion are achieved, clients are given exercises that incorporate balance and agility.
